Seven time Indian Wushu Champion, Himanshu Kaushik will be back in action on 3rd May at ONE: For Honor in Jakarta Indonesia against Indonesia´s own Adrian Mattheis. The fight will be Kaushik´s 4 fight within ONE Championship organisation.
He had a very tough fighters welcoming him into ONE Championship. He fought Stefer Rahardian in his ONE Championship debut in May 2018 where he lost with a first round submission. Following his debut he was paired against former ONE Championship Strawweight champion Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke where he lost again with a submission.
In his 3rd fight he clashed with Indonesia´s Egi Rozten at ONE: Hero´s Ascent in Manila, the Phillipines. Where Kaushik knocked out Rozten in the first round.
Ahead of his fight against Adrian Mattheis next Friday said Himanshu Kaushik:
“I had a big victory in my last fight which did great for my confidence. Now I want to put together a win streak and get a second straight victory against a tough Indonesian local star. I know the crowd will be against me again in this one but I don’t mind. I’ll go in there and do what I do best.”
