We are in for a treat on Saturday. ONE Championship Conquest of Heroes takes place in Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta, Indonesia. The strawweight title is on the line in the main event, between the champion Yoshitaka Naito and the contender, young and talented Joshua Pacio. The hometown hero Stefer Rahardian returns to the cage after his only loss on his career so far. The former One Championship Featherweight champion Marat Gafurov is there alongside former Flyweight champion Kairat Akhmetov both hungry for a win. Joshua Pacio’s teammate at Asia´s hottest MMA team at the moment Team Lakay, Danny Kingad is facing a very tough opponent in Yuya Wakamatsu from Japan.
Our predictions for the event is ready, as always the shadowed fighter on the picture is the one that we predict to lose their fight.
Yoshitaka Naito vs Joshua Pacio
Yoshitaka Naito and Joshua Pacio fought at ONE: State of Warriors in October 2016, where Naito came off victorious after submitting Joshua Pacio with a rear naked choke in the first round. We are sure that Joshua Pacio will not let that happen again. Joshua Pacio´s team, Team Lakay is riding a huge momentum this year, and we are sure that he will take add another ONE Championship title to his gym on Saturday.
Prediction: Joshua Pacio wins via decision
Stefer Rahardian vs Peng Xue Wen
Stefer Rahardian is 8-1 in his professional career, his only loss came in his last fight against Rene Catalan in July this year. His opponent Peng Xue Wen is 2-3 in his career where his wins came after a 1st round knockouts. he has lost two fights via TKO and one loss after a decision. Stefer Rahardian gets the opportunity to get back on winning ways again in front his fellow countrymen in Indonesia on Saturday and prove that his loss in his last fight was just a bump in the road towards the title. That is exactly what we think he will do on Saturday.
Stefer Rahardian wins via 1st round submission (his signature move Rear-Naked Choke)
Yuya Wakamatsu vs Danny Kingad
It´s maybe Yuya Wakamatsu´s ONE Championship debut but he is a really tough fighter, he has heavy hands, he has won 10 fights in the Pancrase organisation and 7 of them has been KO/TKO after punches. If Danny Kingad wants to win this fight he has to take the fight to the ground, Danny is 7-1 in his professional career, his only loss is against former One Flyweight Champion Adriano Moraes. We fully believe that Danny Kingad will follow Team Lakay tradition this year and win this fight.
Prediction: Danny Kingad wins via 2nd round submission
Koyomi Matsushima vs Marat Gafurov
Koyomi Matsushima´s ONE organisational debut is against former featherweight champion Marat Gafurov. Matsushima is clearly a tough fighter taking this fight. but unfortunately, it is a fight against the Marat Cobra Gafurov.
Prediction: Marat Gafurov wins via 1st round submission (Rear-Naked Choke)
Saygid Guseyn Arslanaliev vs Timofey Nastyukhin
This fight will undoubtedly be very interesting. Nastyukhin is coming out of a win against one of the best fighters in the lightweight division, Amir Khan. Arslanaliev, on the other hand, has never let a fight to the judges’ decision. 3 TKO wins and two submission wins prove that he is dangerous everywhere, his only loss was after DQ (kick to a grounded opponent). This fight can go either way!
Prediction: Timofey Nastyukhin wins via split decision
Kairat Akhmetov vs Ma Hao Bin
Prediction: Kairat Akhmetov wins via 1st round submission (armbar)
Priscilla Hertati Lumban Gaol vs Jomary Torres
Prediction: Jomay Torres wins via decision
Victorio Senduk vs Sunoto
Prediction: Sunoto wins via 2nd round TKO
Adrian Matheis vs Angelo Bimoadji
Prediction: Adrian Matheis wins via 1st round Submission
