Five fights to make after UFC Belem

UFC Belem Poster

  1. Lyoto Machida vs Michael Bisping
Lyoto Machida defeated Eryk Anders via split decision in the main of UFC Belem last weekend. Lyoto Machida has already talked about retirement and we think that fight between Michael Bisping and Lyoto Machida for a retirement fight for both fighters.
  2. Valentina Shevshenko vs Nicco Montano
Valentina Shevshenko destroyed undefeated Priscila Cachoeira in the co-main event of UFC Belem. We believe that Cachoeira is a lot better fighter than she showed on that night. We can all admit that she is tough and can take many hard shots as it showed that night where total strikes was 230-3. Valentina Shevchenko is just on another level and and that weight class seems to fit her perfectly. Therefore we believe that she have earned her a titleshot against newly crowned UFC women´s flyweight champion Nicco Montano.
  3. Thiago Santos vs David Branch
Thiago Santos finished Anthony Smith in the second round with a kick to the body followed by punches. Anthony Smith was on a 3 fight winning streak and had won 11 out of his last 12 fights, so this win was huges for Thiago Santos that is now on 4 fights winning streak, all after stoppages. After the weekend he is now ranked 15th in the UFC middleweight division. We think Thiago Santos is now ready for the big boys in the divison and David Branch is a real test for him.
  4. Deiveson Figueiredo vs Ryan Benoit
Deiveson Figueiredo is now 3-0 in the UFC and 14-0 in his career. After his TKO win this weekend at Belem in 2nd round over Joseph Morales. His win over Jarred Brooks in October did not impress us at all and we still think that Jarred Brooks won that fight. We would like to see Deiveson Figureiredo fight Ryan Benoit next and somewhere outside of Brazil.
  5. Michel Prazeres vs Alan Patrick
Both those fighters won their fights in Belem both have impressive records Prazeres is now 24-2 and Patrick is 15-1. That fight would be fun to watch!
